THE
Creation is broken, humanity survives, & the Divine is unveiled.
The Beast was loosed upon the earth; Its heart was malevolence, its breath despair, its voice as thunder.
And wept tears of fire and brimstone upon the earth; and all the living envied the dead, as The Falling was unleashed upon Creation.
The Hour of Judgement withheld.
The skies continued to fall; the righteous above did wait and watch with patient indifference; and the nature of Creation warped in the unveiling of The Divine.
Bearing Divine Gifts, vessels of power for whom the lingering stewards of humanity had been promised.
The first of Divinity, the last of Creation; Chosen to determine the fate of all that was, all that is, and all that shall ever be.
From orbit, the damage is unmistakable: meteor storms descend in relentless waves, striking continents without mercy and reshaping the surface through fire and impact. The world below endures under constant bombardment, its skies scarred by falling stone and its lands permanently altered by the violence of celestial descent.
What once rose in steel and stone was reduced to fractured grids and open craters, erased by relentless bombardment and Divine collision until no skyline remained intact.
Giant craters dominate the surface, vast and circular, their edges split and glassed from repeated impact. They remain scattered across the world in overwhelming number, many still steaming, venting heat and ash into skies that have not fully cleared since the bombardment began.
Ash settles over the ruins of homes and buildings, drifting through broken walls and open roofs. Few structures remain standing, their survival owed more to accident than resilience.
Humanity began again behind walls of its own making, raising reinforced barriers from salvaged steel and fractured concrete to carve out controlled zones of survival. These enclosed cities are built not for expansion but for defense, designed to hold back the horrors beyond the perimeter and the environmental shifts that reshaped the world.
Within the walls, cultivation and civilization grew side by side, as food systems, shared labor, and guarded districts took root within fractured remnants of the old world. Survivors rebuilt not through expansion, but through layered structure, allowing life and order to overlap in spaces carved from collapse.
